I've had hair just below my chin and on my neck since I was 14, almost 9 years.
It started as a very small amount and because I was embarrassed and unknowledgeable, I shaved it.
This is where I have to disagree with the recommendation of shaving as a 'treatment', which I find irresponsible.
I have spent all 11 years until now, shaving.
It HAS become thicker, darker, more course.
The area of hair growth has grown in size from a square inch just below my chin, to four inches square covering half my neck.
I have got hormone tests- I've been sent for these twice, no irregularities were found. I am on Yasmin from last 6 months. I didnt see any change in my body other than reducing acne to an extent. I got alot of acne also in last 2-2.5 years.
I just started Lazer hair removal for my chin. I wanted to know that what will happen when I go off the Yasmin. And why am i on yasmin when in reports, it shows no irregularities.
