I'm 19 and have a couple more years left at uni; I'm really focused on my career and have quite a few internships coming up this summer, but I feel like I want to get married quite soon after I graduate for some reason. I grew up in a really awful family where there wasn't much stability, so I'm not sure if I want to just find a reliable guy and settle down rather than focus exclusively on my work. Do you reckon getting married in your early twenties is too young, though? It's not uncommon in people of my religion (Christianity) but I'm wondering what the disadvantages are. It's kind of a hypothetical question, because I haven't found someone I want to marry yet, but I don't want to spend too much time on university relationships either if they're not going to lead anywhere. | |||
