OK, so we're wrapping up Season 5 of "The Walking Dead" and I must say that my wife and I have definitely been drawn in to the story line. As the story has progressed, we both have drawn the same conclusion...It isn't the dead that are the immediate threat to the group, it's the surviving humans that are the most dangerous. As "civilization" breaks down, people' true nature exposed as a result of what they have to do to survive.
As in "Breaking Bad" where I felt the story was a remake of Shakespeare's "MacBeth", "The Walking Dead" is another archetypal story that has been part of modern mythos as well. "The Walking Dead" is a remake of the classic "Lord Of The Flies".
Excellent story so far.
