Hello all. So our newborn is now a bit over 8 weeks old. The doc gave us the go ahead for sex nearly 3 weeks ago and next week my fiancé is getting ParaGard iud. Yesterday we had a discussion about her sex drive. She told me that it is completely gone. This would explain the lack of sex.
I asked her if sex is painful and she said no, that she simply doesn't get satisfaction or pleasure in it any longer. I was wondering why she no longer initiated sex, now I know. I am pretty devastated at how bluntly she told me she no longer needs nor wants sex.
So, I guess what I'm wondering, is for those of you who went through childbirth or was with your significant other that did, does this get better? Do sex drives/libidos return?
