I was told by many people once my husband left that a puppy would be a great companion. Has anyone done this? Tomorrow I'm going to the local animal shelter and picking up a 4 month old smooth fox terrier mix. Luckily my roommate has grown up around a dog and can help me. I'm anxious excited.
