What has happened to UK men?

I remember the UK as having guys who got drunk and fought at football matches. I remember the UK as the home of rugby which is played widely, and makes American football look like a tea party for little girls. What has happened that so many of the male posters on here from the UK (not all, just many) seem to have become passive followers afraid of their own shadows, and more worriesome , their own wives. Either that or there is a troll who likes to write and uses abused UK men as their character. I've been on this board for a couple years and I've witnessed a long trail of these same stories play out over and over. Remember the guy who came back from vacation with his wife only to be informed when they got back that she no longer loved him and that he needed to immediately move out? Turned out she'd been planning it with her lover for a long time, yet the husband kept denying it and bring nice hoping she would let him move back into his own home. Or the guy who's wife was a flight attendant and had lovers all over including one of the pilots? He kept tracking her, but never confronted. What happened to the guys who played on that rugby pitch? When did they decide the needed to wear body armor and stand off because they were afraid of getting dirty? Is it UK popular culture that's to blame? Did the spice girls steal the mojo away? Are middle aged UK wives ripe for the taking by a man who's willing to take and not ask? I'm just trying to reconcile these dichotomies and observational trends. Do we need to do a massive air drop of MMSL?
