I'm from a town about 15 miles from Manchester, and he's about 20 miles away from Manchester.
So I mean it's not next door but it's certainly doable. We've only been talking for a few days but have been getting on well and talked about meeting up soon.
Currently with my parents trying to save up but looking for my own flat. I'd like to live in Manchester, but i'm more inclined to stay in my hometown as I like it here, rent's not expensive etc. And i'm still very close to Manchester.
Plus it all depends on job situation etc., I might end up in neither.
Anyway, I told him this last night and he told me that if I don't move to Manchester we could never date, as it's too far.
I told him I understood and i'm glad he was honest, but at the same time I wasn't able to tell him right now where i'd be living.
Then he seemed to backtrack saying he'll come and visit me in my hometown if he really liked me, and i'd visit him.
I told him that sort of thing wouldn't be a problem for me, and then I told him to go and have a think about it.
I also said that I wasn't looking to rush into anything with anyone, after a bad previous relationship experience.
Anyway I haven't heard from him since and he usually messages a lot. It's just that we haven't even met and we've only been talking for a few days. I cannot tell him i'll move to Manchester for you. What do you guys think? Thanks
