torn

my husband has a problem with my parents which ended up with me being estranged with my family for a few months now. i would call them sometimes but H doesn't want them to come over the house and I havent seen them for a while. they wanted to see us for christmas but H didnt approve of it, so we ended up not going. now that xmas is over and the kids are still off school, i wanted to visit them with the kids, but H is refusing to let me bring the kids with me. he told me to go by myself and he will let me. they are about an hour's drive away and i'm planning to spend only a few hours there. he doesnt approve of me bringing my kids and letting my parents be a part of their lives now. i know my parents miss the kids and wanted to see them a lot.
i dont know what to do, do i go by myself? which seem pointless for me because the oldies want to see the kids.. do i go and bring the other kids and leave the others at home? (i have 5, including a 6mo old baby).. or do i have any other better options??
