Okay, so there was a guy in my AS maths class last year, who I'd never spoken to and didn't seem to pay any particular attention to me either.
In the last week of college, he messaged me on Facebook and we've been talking on there ever since - 6 months later, I still haven't talked to him face to face, and I'm not in lessons with him anymore - but I sometimes see him around college.
He's been asking me (via Facebook) to go on a date with him for around 2-3 months now, but even though I kind of want to meet him, I keep putting it off as I'm self-conscious about my appearance - I have acne scars which I'm afraid he hasn't seen (or know I have). So, I don't know what he'll think of me. He seems like the sort of guy who cares about his appearance, so I'm not sure how I'd fit into it. :S
My friends said to me that a nice enough guy wouldn't judge a book by it's cover so to speak.
So, I'm too afraid to go on the first date with him as I'm scared that I won't meet his expectations, what should I do/ what advice would you give me?Thanks!
