Put it simply - met a girl at a family party away, get chatting, add each other on Fb etc, the usual. Chatting for a month and realise we both like each other and decide to go on a date.
Now, she lives an hour and a half away on the train. Not too far, but awks either way.
Anyhow, train tickets booked, whole day planned, I even hand made her a bloody 1kg easter egg in DT. We go to costa, get lunch, see a movie, all goes perfectly and she seems to be really enjoying herself. We kiss a few times etc. Never says anything amiss and body language says all's going well.
Plan to meet up again.
A few days later after, sudden message of "I don't want anything, we should just be friends."
Now I'm not arsed about money, but all in all with train tickets etc. I spent over £50, and then she just fobs me off? I know the point of dating is to find if you like someone, but still? Where did I go wrong people? That was my first proper date with anyone other than my ex (who was also long distance by chance...) so I'm hardly an expert!
Why was it all so sudden? What did I do?
Put the internet to work for you.
