Hi everyone, my gf decided to end things between us after a short two-moth relation. she wasn't ready for the commitment of a relationship and I understood her viewpoint and we agreed it was best for us. After that, things became a bit confusing - we were at uni together and still had some contact between us but it was minimal. Recently, we have started to talk a lot more and things are no longer awkward between us. I even offered to take her for dinner for her birthday next week and she was up for it!
Now, she has made it very clear that she doesn't want a relationship which is fine, but I don't want to lose her as just another one of my friends… Basically I am still attracted to her and I am happy to have fun with her with no strings attached (I do not intend to have intercourse with her as for me I would want to have some sort of attachment, but everything else apart from that!). I am slightly unsure as to how I should tell her about this - she is a very open girl and I don't think she would feel offended at all or anything but is this a good idea? and has anyone ever had any sort of experience of being in a situation like this?
Thanks for reading! Anon as I know people on here.
