Just wondering what everyone's kids listen to. I'm at the age where I'm no longer cool, but I'm too young to responsibly reproduce yet... well, ok, maybe not but some friends and family just started having kids and it got me to thinking.
Do your kids have good taste in music or does it drive you up the wall?
When I was growing up music was hugely (possibly too much) important. I grew up in Seattle and Asheville and most of my friends were really into new alternative bands (and some rap). When I left that style was still going strong, but after moving to Mississippi it feels like everything suddenly died and was replaced by folk singers and country. I'm not sure if I just suddenly got old (which is totally cool) or if things are just that different here.
