I'm in a FWB type setup and I feel uncertain about what the guy wants, however communicating straightforwardly about this seems rly difficult. :( I feel like he doesn't want to make it explicit that he just wants sex, in fact I don't think he just wants sex, but the grey area between FWB and relationship confuses me. Like IMO if your FWB includes open romantic expression it's a bit weird to call it FWB? We're definitely not in a relationship though. And if I ask him 'would you ever go out with me' it'll sound like I want to go out with him. I want to know though just so I know where I stand? Also what if he's dishonest out of concern that his answer will bother me. :/
