I recently just left year 11 and am moving into sixth form (im 16). I have mixed feeling about this girl.
We've known each other for a while,i guess we where friends we used to hang out in the same group at times, she seemed to find me funny and was friendly towards me etc.
On the school prom we danced together, and we hugged goodbye and i thought that was that and i may not see her again as she is moving to a college quite far away and doesn't live quite close to all my other mates.
So anyway fast forward a few weeks I went to this party a few weeks back and she was there. We talked for a bit and i think she got a bit drunk. She pulled me about and we ended up cuddling, holding hands and talking for a bit on and off for a hour or so before i left. At the time i would probably have kissed her or something had it not have been for her being sick! After the night I developed a attraction and have had her on my mind since.
I started to message her on facebook and for the first 2 weeks of messaging every 3 days or so it seemed really positive and we could have conversations that lasted well over 2 hours. However recently i have started to doubt if shes really into me.
Maybe it was a real excuse but i can't help but feel paranoid. Recently she said she fell asleep and didn't answer her message i sent (i took 20 mins to answer but still meh :/). The most recent time i talked we had been chatting for 30 minutes she said she was "walking her dog and had to go" it was nearly 11pm, sounded odd to me to do that, although she did say "talk to u soon".
Im starting to wonder if its her state of mind that caused her to act that way towards me that night as normally she is quite a quiet person. Although i was as far as i can tell i was the only one that she initiated anything with herself. Once a guy came up to her and tried to grind her but that lasted only very briefly.
I have no idea really i have heard the saying the "Drunk actions speak sober thoughts" or something like that, is that the case here? I like her and wanted to see her as she was planning to go out with a few friends of mine but they never did as she had some family round. Should i ask her to come out with me, I want to be positive she likes me before doing anthing else.
And lastly I haven't texted her since Tuesday, should i wait to see if she responds to me or should i try and contact her now or ASAP?
