Feminists go on and on about social constructs. They say that gender roles is a social construct, yet they don't say that sexuality is a social construct.
In other words, in the minds of feminists, the way you behave is dictated solely by society, and yet simultaneously, the gender that you're attracted to is who you naturally are.
They actually believe that how you're raised has no influence on your sexuality, when in reality it certainly does.
I did a search on OKCupid to see how many bisexual and lesbian women ("girls who like girls") there were online in the whole of the UK. I found a whole heap of them. Then I did the same search in the Philippines, and there was just a tiny few. About 4 I think. I did the same in a few other countries and there were also very few. Needless to say in the US there were also a ton of them.
This means one of 2 things. Either women in the UK and US are somehow liberated and free to be themselves, that is to say, the culture of the UK / US brings out their true selves, while the women in other countries are repressed and can't be themselves so the bisexual and lesbian ones just keep their heads down and pretend to be straight...
...or, it's just a case of there not being that many lesbian and bisexual women in those other countries.
One could try and argue that the lesbians and bisexuals in those non western countries are somehow afraid of being found out, and so they don't bother doing online dating in case someone sees their picture. But that's obviously rubbish because if their culture is so messed up, then surely all those lesbians and bisexual women would be very well aware of it, and as a result, they would all be very understanding towards each other about wanting to keep some privacy in their photos, and as a result of that, they would just go ahead and do online dating without worrying about being found out.
The simple fact is, there are very few lesbian and bisexual women in non western countries. Therefore it stands to reason that there is something about western culture that "raises" lesbians and bisexuals.
