How is this sexist?

I got into a debate with my gs friend and i said that "nobody really cares what a woman does for a living, but if a guy doesn't have a well paying job and be the breadwinner then mainstream society will look down on him". and she called me a chauvinist and my gf looked embarrassed because or her fends dissaproval. like wtf? I didnt even mean to be offensive and now it made. Things a bit awkward beween us for a short while but she been my gfs best friend since they were kids. Her friend clearly doesnt like me much just getting those vibes (and i feel its racially inclined). And every time i see her how you can cut the tension with aknife. I want to get ****ing rid of this girl because she putting a strain on our happiness and its starting to annoy me. How can i stir things between them both, because im sure thats what she trying to do.
