Hello all. I need advice on an issue I have with my fiance. So her father is in/out of the hospital pretty regularly and cannot drive. The entire family has put pressure on her to continue being the family chauffeur.
She is now 7 months pregnant. She has been asked to take her dad to his doc appointments, to his social security appointments and just other running around type of stuff. She also drives her sister around to her doc appointments and whenever her car breaks down, she is there to help with transportation.
I have asked her to ease up on being the family chauffeur. She has nearly ran out of her savings and needs to make the rest last for as long as possible (perhaps until after baby arrives). But it frustrates me that she continues driving the family around and it is slowly whittling her savings to nothing. The family helps out with NOTHING money wise for fuel. Soon, the burden will be upon me to pay her bills and fuel. I don't mind helping out for the bills, but its not fair that I should have to pay for gas shuttling her family around. And lately, I feel I am having to compete with her family for her time. I don't know what to do.
