Happiness sometimes eludes me. I fight unhealthy urges to get my happiness fix. Now, I'm searching for healthy options when my brain goes into that: boredom/sad, need for excitement mode. I've come up with stuff that helps, (Ex Listening to a song that grabs me, holding my dog, working in the garden, going to the gym.)
I think I've been taught to expect too much from life and therefore fail to appreciate the small moments of happiness that come daily. Gratitude must be a learned skill. I wonder if it comes easy for anyone.
