EA with wifes friend

I was stupid and got into a texting affair with wife's crazy friend.

I was kinda lured into it .... with her friend giving me attention and willing to hide this from my wife for months.

Then when it got too serious she tells the wife and blows everything up... instead of saying hey we have gone too far lets chill out... I think she planned the entire thing

So after the fallout this friend of my wife's gets pissed at wife saying that my wife "picked" me over her.... crazy woman.

Wife said while she is pissed at both of us she is not ready to get a D over this. I have never done anything like this before.

Now she is telling the wife that I have likely cheated before, and wife should leave me... offered for wife to move in with her.

I have three older children that are moved out and 2 at home but they are 18 and 16

The problem now as a see it is this woman and my wife are in some codependent relationship. They are not physical with each other, but very emotionally attached. The friend has many issues as well

This friend or hers that I had the texting affair knows everything about our family .... its a mess.... wife won't break off her friendship after many people have told her she needs to.

So tonight wife tells me she wants to hate me for lying and texting her friend but wants to try and make this workout, and that she will stay for the kids........ I told her if she does not want to stay then don't

While her friend takes no blame but says she does feel guilty..

I am at the point that I really don't care anymore. I mean damn, the divorce laws a so old and unfair to the male its crazy

I mean was this really cheating? Im sure she has confided with men at some point in 20 years. All that happened was talking about some things I should not have been talking about to her friend but she has told this friend way too much about me as well
