18 and still no first kiss?

I know this is going to sound really weird, but I'm eighteen and (as the title suggests) I still haven't had a first kiss. Not even a boyfriend. Yesterday I was out our year leavers' party with the boys' school connected to my one, and I was dancing with a friend of a friend. He was really sweet and funny, and stupidly good looking, and we were dancing quite close. I wanted to kiss him, but given that I hadn't ever kissed anybody before, I was worried I would make a fool of myself and decided against it, to my later regret. So my questions are: 1) Is it weird for an 18 year-old to have never kissed anybody before? and 2) How do I go about kissing somebody for the first time? I know this will sound really weird but I hope you can help me. I'll be meeting this friend (hopefully) at another party on Sunday, and I want to rectify this mistake. Thank you! :)
