I want to move to Edinburgh, but my boyfriend doesn't. Advice?

Hi, My boyfriend and I have been together for almost two years, and are moving in together for our final year at uni. I have an offer to do a masters at the University of Edinburgh the year after, which would do wonders for my career options as well as giving me the chance to live in an amazing city. However, he has his heart set on us relocating to Bristol. It's much closer to his family and he feels Scotland is too far/doesn't have anything to offer him - bearing in mind that he has no idea what he wants to do. He is really eager to travel for a year, or more, but has already decided that he is putting that off while I do my masters. But if he stays, I might end up 'having' to go to Bristol. We're both compromising our dreams for our relationship. How do I convince him that he should either move to Edinburgh with me, or go travelling while I do my masters?
