Help.
I recently broke up with my girlfriend, she has issues with her parents - her mum left when she was 10 or something, but she sees her now (against her will) and her dad is very quiet and doesnt show her any affection.
I dont know why I agreed to be her boyfriend, but i'm very glad its over now..
..or is it.
I think that because of the lack of affection she has received in her life, I am now her only source of positive feelings, so she's having great difficulty letting go.
I can't deal with her now that we've finally broken up after almost four years, she wont stop calling and texting, asking to meet up and talk. I've told her we're over and that seeing each other will help nothing and that she just needs to accept it, but she just wont listen. I just really need her to leave me alone, but she literally won't. I want to be single again, I'm a very reserved person and i very much like being alone. Does anyone know how I can get her to go away? I'm going to university in September, so i'm hoping that will help.
The problem is that i actually think she might be crazy - like, MANIC! I'm honestly fearful that she'll try and get pregnant or hurt herself to get me to stay. Is there anything I physically can do? Can I call the police or someone to handle her and leave me alone??
Some more info;
I have generalised anxiety disorder, so these concerns might be slightly exaggerated, although I honestly am not sure.
She has told me she wants to meet one last time to talk, and ''if it goes well'' (WHATEVER THAT MEANS?!) she would leave me alone for good.
Someone please help!!
Put the internet to work for you.
