I never understood that. If you ask women (whether they are 15 or 50) what qualities they like in men 95%+ will list a variation of ambitious or driven and most see it as probably the most important quality since it's almost always mentioned at the top of their list, almost without exception. Guys almost never mention it on their lists and if they do it's just a meh side thing/whatever/would be nice. Kinda reminds me of the confidence thing that's also so important to women while guys just don't care most of the time. Is there any logical explanation for this?
