Am I wrong to think this?

I'm nearly 20 and never had a girlfriend, kissed etc

however lately I've been thinking I would like a girlfriend but there's not really any girl at the moment.

ive also thought I should maybe try and change myself a little to get a girls attention (as I do have low confidence when it comes to this) but at the same time I don't see why I should have to change myself to someone I'm not - I like the way I am - am I being too principled?, as i am a very principled person.

Am am I wrong to think this?
