| I've been posting on TAM since 2009. Its been over 3 yrs that I've been considering divorce. Since then, I lost my brother and my mother. It's been a very difficult time, especially these past two years. That's independent of my marriage. As for the marriage, it's time for it to be over. I won't bother posting the many, many threads where I've outlined how we fight, how we don't communicate, how our issues are hurting our kids, how miserable our entire household is. How we've tried counseling and books and nothing has ever worked. So I'm going today to open a new bank account in my name. I'm going to make copies of financial and legal docs. I'm basically starting the process. It's scary, but I've faced so many hard things recently that I know I will get through this as well. Lastly, let me say for the record that I have never lied to him. I didn't cheat, no EAs, not even an online flirt. | |||
