25 year old guy, still living at home with no direction. Would a girl consider me?

If I got to know a girl first, would she consider me in context of dating? I cook for myself, clean, wash my own clothes, iron my own clothes, pretty much everything I'd do if I lived alone, except I live with my father. I would like to think I am independent enough. Apart from the fact that I still live at home, I try to do everything on my own two feet and not rely on anyone else. I do occasionally approach girls out of friendliness, but I sometimes feel a little self conscious about them finding out about my issues. Any advice?
