Asking him round

So I really like this guy that met just under a year ago, the problem is we hardly see each other unless I go to the bank where he works. To cut a long story short, things improved with us last year November and just when I thought things were working out, we stopped talking and the last time I heard from him was when I text him Happy new year and that I miss him, and he replied, happy new year hun. I know this is going to sound like a whore mistake but I'm off out on fri and I've booked a hotel to stay when I've finished going out, but before that thought it would be an idea to ask him to come round seeing I haven't seen or spoken to him in so long. Hes crap at texting and I'm shy to call him, any ideas on what I could say to invite him round or at least see him? PS: for all you nosey people, yes we've slept together
