Some day this will be a "ho-hum, what is the big deal" about marriage equality. Until that time it looks like going into this summer as SCOTUS argues the issue there may be up 40 out of 50 states that provide marriage equality. It would be hard even for a conservative majority justices to ignore and or attempt to reverse.
