Is this girl my friend or a spy?

  • Thread Starter

Me and my girlfriend go to the same Uni so we share a mutual friendship group. We both knew this girl during the start of Uni. Let's just call her Amy.

So me and my girlfriend had a large argument a few weeks ago. At first I didn't know what I did wrong, so I asked Amy if she had any idea. She said she would tell me if she find out anything. A few days later, she informed me that my girlfriend typed her like 3 paragraphs worth of things, which she copied and pasted to me. I mean at that point I thought she was more of a friend on my side rather than my girlfriend's. Previously Amy told me she broke up with her BF and told me not to tell my GF since my GF might tell everyone by accident. This made me trust that she is on my side. However, as the conversation goes on, she seems to adapt the same views as my girlfriend and thinks what I did was wrong.

THEN, out of nowhere, the big question dropped. She asked, "Be serious, do you want to marry ?". I said, "Lets just say she's not 100% my ideal wife type, and I'm not 100% her hubby material" (Still pretty proud of my sly answer till this day :D). Throughout the remaining conversation she's just like "If you love her you will put up with her", "She's a great girl", "You have to do anything she asks you to do". After the convo I started to doubt whether she was genuinely trying to help me, or in fact has an ulterior motive.

I didn't think about it too much, but since me and my girlfriend's relationship has taken a turn for the worse, I'm starting to regret asking Amy for advice. So what do you guys think? Is Amy on some James Bond 007/Edward Snowden shiet leaking confidential information?
