After reading so many posts (including mine), getting over vacation day, getting back on track with being busy and healthy and caring about myself I realized one thing: we do complicate our life and we do need to love ourselves more.
How did I realize that? I knew it all along but sometime I need to remind myself who really matter in my life and who is the most important person: wow is me!
And no I am not narcissistic, bipolar or whatever I've just been lucky enough to go through a journey that helped me understand how to love myself and put myself first.
Of course I deviate from from the path sometimes but the idea is to be able to get back.
So what have I seen that made me write this thread:
1. We all need the love of support of somebody in order to validate who we are - my opinion we are fabulous no matter who approves us.
2. We beat ourselves with a metaphorical stick whenever the person next to us stops loving us (and of course validating us).
3. We are afraid of anybody new or anything new because we have been hurt (although we were there in the process and we let ourselves be hurt).
4. We always wonder what did we do? what could have we done better? - although if we look hard enough at ourselves sometimes things just happen. Maybe we need to learn something or the universe just "believes" that we deserve a better life.
5. We struggle to fulfill the wishes and aims of the other when all the time the only wishes we should be trying to fulfill are those we are harbouring.
6. We read all the books possible of how to 180, his needs whomever needs etc. while the only book we are supposed to read and we never do is the book about ourselves.
7. We do repeat the same patterns - we are afraid to get back on living because we do not want complications, we do not want clingy people - we do not want...(the list is long), you name it. All this in the same time when we are supposed to take risks, get back in the game, live life to the fullest no matter what is happening because at the end of the life we will regret the things we didn't do not the things we did.
8. We all want to be loved but did we ever stop if we are able to love in return - and start with the most important persons in our lives - ourselves?
9. We listen to councilors that tell us what to do???...while the counseling is a journey while nobody should tell us how, what or where we should do but help us discover ourselves and the connection with our subconscient.
10. We worry about money, bills, spendings, budgets while the happiest persons in the world are those that left all those things and start doing the thing they love most, turn it into a job and the money started coming.
Well I can add to this list until tomorrow, however I am wondering what do my fellows posters from TAM think.
And as always I appreciate your opinion, whatever it may be:)
