Been reading some posts today over on P&R and it seems like WW3 is about to start so I thought rather than politics getting everyone riled up, how about music.
Now, I'm 66 years old and have been around for the early Doo Wop days to the British Invasion and all the way up to today and what I would like to know is...........
Who in your opinion is the greatest guitar player of all time.
Who is the greatest front man of all time.
Being that I started this and of course, age before beauty.
Guitar players.
1. Clapton. Never saw one man get so much out of one instrument with such little effort. Just stands there and let's his guitar do all the talking.
2. Mato Nanji. From the band Indigenous. If you haven't heard about him then down load their music and give a listen.
3. Hendrix. Would have loved to here what he would be playing today.
Front man
1. James Brown. No one did it better.
2. Mick Jagger. At 70, the man still has it.
3. Elvis. Guy did a lot for music and brought rock and roll to where it is.
Whose next?
