Sex in an LDR

I'd love to get some advice on this. My girlfriend and I have never had sex, and we are in an LDR relationship. When we meet we do physical things and the lower bases, but we have never had sex and we are both virgins. I feel ready, but she is not, and I am completely happy to wait. My issue is that I feel as we see each other rarely (maybe 3 days/nights every 3-4 weeks?) it'll be hard to grow more intimately as we like, as when we meet up we do things but don't have the extended length of time to keep growing more comfortable. Also, I am always the one to bring up sex (not often at all, maybe once every month or so) and I feel that as she rarely speaks about it, if I just talk about it I will seem obsessed. I am not at all, but feel that after a year together our relationship needs to keep progressing. Any tips?
