I recently joined a university society and there is a girl I find attractive. The problem is this: I'm a bit shy and have never asked a girl out before. I don't even know how it's done. I am also a bit strange and not sure whether she'd even find me remotely attractive and am worried that it could turn out incredibly embarrasing and be awkward for the rest of the year. If I did want to ask her out, would I be better off trying to make friends first? If so, how long would it be before I should ask her out? I really have no idea what to do :rolleyes:.
