:confused: My husband and I met 2005, Jan. on internet. Both lonely for love n' companionship. We're both 52. We talked everyday for 1 full year. In 2005 July, I flew to Australia to meet him for 3 wks. I. seen a little temper, but thought thats him not tolerating BS. He did make me tear up once over raising his voice on my 3 wk holiday to meet him; I let it go.
We partied, met his parents, siblings: met oldest son, but not his 3 younger children, for he didnt have a relationship with any of them since they were 4. I have got all of them talking to him now. Husband is having his 3rd grandchild this mth. I'm his 3rd marriage, this is my 1st.and I have no kids. I thought hes the one, he loves the beach, sun, yummy drinks, we danced on my holiday, he loves to sail, fish, swim, same music and life experiences.
We were tired of internet, he asked me if I would ever move to Australia one day. I said yes, n even promised after he asked me to promise! I said, after my Mom forsure passes away, for shes alone n not well. He moved over with nothing. He sold his 2nd hand car/furniture to pay his trip, n new dentures. I paid the whole sponsorship, n work permits, Drs tests, rcmp checks {$4800.}We got along on the most part but I couldnt be my talkative self yr, by yr, and said I interrupted too much, correct him, not let him finish stories. Yes thats not right. Im hard-wired n love people but call the cops for me talking too much, interrupting!
My Mom passes on 2009, he was there for me as I grieved. My Dad died 2010. 2011 he then, lets move back to AU. Since we weren't getting along I was scared to leave my gov't job, to move where i had no job or friends. He could leave AU. to come here, but I couldn't, things changed. We went to AU. 2008, 2010, to keep him happy, 2013 again where his Dad passed away 1st wk, so sad, so I took care of his Mum''. Also went to Mexico 2x and Cuba once.
Ohh, forgot, 1st year he arrived in CA., I received a $6950.child support bill. I said, 'wtf is this? He said, 'l didnt think it was that much, maybe $2,000.I said, 'still, u never brought it up'. {bad taste in mouth} I had a condo when he arrived here, 2 cars. My Sable. Ford broke down, so had to sell my 68' Camaro for $16,000.to buy him a 3,500 truck n me a 7,000 car. He couldnt work the 1st yr for no work permit so I cared for him, all mortgage, bills/food/smokes,beer, n I quit smoking when I came back from trip in 2005
. He worked 2007-2012, but would get laid off, new job, then 2012, May, hit head on steel beam at major hardware store. He tried working as Dr.diagnosed him with tennis elbow for 1 1/2 yrs. Wrong diagnosis! He went on medical EI , May-sept, 2013, got cut off, now on Ca.disability of $500. a mth.Now what?!
We both agreed to go our own way, but we have an international student here till Jan, to help out, a renter downstairs, and when I put my 70,000 on this house in 2007, went under his name to save us 5,000 on home owners grant. He said he would transfer land title back to both of us, so now..Im just waiting to see lawyer, next week, counseling, n then transfer title. We have a dog we got together, vet bills so far for him at 6 yrs old have been $4,000. Plus food, grooming.
Since my gross pay has been 4x as much as him since 2008-2013, not sure what to do. He sold his truck n now has suv. Hes asked now for $30,000 cash, n $6500. SUV. n my car is now worth $1,000. But I put all that interest n principal on my Condo since 2002.
Im scared, we both took this leap of faith for love, but he snaps all the time, cant communicate, yells, threatens to leave, but where does he go in cold months, arms disabled, n cant work? :( Im not one to leave him in the cold, but the stress of him hanging on my purse strings is getting to me, Im going broker, as I now do all chores, did them all anyhow, work, shop, dog, banking, etc, etc, ugg! Now he hates the cold here, wont swim in lake in summer, too cold, doesn't like chlorine pools, cant ride or sail more than 4 mths a year. We are faithful to each other, w have no friends but hes friends with renter n 7 yr old boy, its all good, shes sweet, kids like a grandson now for they have been downstairs for almost yrs.and shes a sweetie.Hell have a harder time to say goodbye to them than me. it feels. He says, he wants to get surgery first before he moves back yto Australia...in the meantime what now?? Help Pease...I want him out fow he still smlkes, drinks beer, eats well , n treats me like crap, we rarely talk. etc.
