I was in a FWB thing which we started because we both didn't want a relationship due to having been in previous relationships and just wanting to have fun for a bit. Yet, I've started to get feelings for him. I ended our fwb thing because I didn't want my feelings to get stronger and it to get messy. I only said part of the reason why I wanted to stop it - that I felt I should wait for a relationship and until I know what I want, missing out the fact I have slight feelings for him. However during our fwb relationship he has acted 'coupley' in a way, such as putting his arm round me in public and saying certain things.
Should I lay my cards out on the table or leave it? We were good friends before, so I don't want to ruin this and I'm sure I'll get over it in time. When we started our fwb thing he made it clear he wouldn't want a relationship unless he caught feelings and that it'd take him a while to.
(Also, the other day he told me he thought I had feelings for someone else? Which I denied, but he thought I was lying to him. Also the last time I spoke to him he was a bit off and weird.)
