Okay so I told my crush I like him and I was so sure he liked me before, cause he told me he did ages ago but I didn't feel the same way.So he replied back saying this:

I'll be honest with you, I've always just seen you as a little sister (LOL what?!, even after he said he liked me) plus there's the fact that our parents know each other which would make anything between us really awkward if they found out.
On the other hand you're incredibly pretty, smart and have a heart of gold. I'm so happy about the girl you've into. You're pretty much the perfect girl. How about this?
I'm really busy with my dissertation until the 5th of March but after that how about I take you out for dinner somewhere? We meet up as friends to start with, see how we get on and take it from there?:D If you're up for it, just don't tell your parents please.
I just feel like he needs to take me out to make me happy.I feel like a backup plan/second option since the other girl didn't like him and it's awkward between them. I don't know what to do.
