Need some advice here as I'm not sure what to do.....
Basically got the details of a female off a friend and since then we've been texting on whatsapp and talking over the phone quite a lot, from my perspective we've built a good connection and get each other quite well. We've also opened up a lot to each other. The plan was to meetup in December however a huge personal issue involving her family broke out and since then she hasn't been the same, not as engaging anymore and more distant. Also the plan to meetup has kind off fallen through.
I've offered to meetup with her just to get her mind off things so she isn't consumed by it all, but the response I get is vague "I may take you up on that' and "I'll let you know". I really don't know what to do, I really like her and want to meet her in person, but I'm worried this could be dragged on and that I could end up as some lackey. It's really hard to try and remain motivated talking to someone who isn't engaged.
Do I give her space and stop contacting her till things are sorted out?
