Your Interests with Spouse, Engaging

I am curious.....how many of you participate in your spouse's interests? Or does he/she participate in yours? Do you have mutual interests? Do you find your spouse engages with you thru conversation and help with the children? The reason I ask this is I have noticed with my friends that the women have participated in their husband's interests but not the other way around. In my case, my husband has gone along with my interests but I do not care for his. My husband is very disconnected with his relationships in general. I was married previously and the two men are complete opposites as far as engaging. My first husband would talk your ear off, was the man of the house and leader. Not my current husband (21 years). He wanted very little to do with his own sons as far as rearing them, I ended up raising them, I could not get him to become involved. With me he has been the same. He would rather sit and play computer games and watch TV and is content to do this by himself. He has always been this way, even when we were dating. I was the one who initiated almost everything. We have become so distant because of this.
