a man with the perfect personality vs male model

  • Thread Starter

If you had two men, one had the perfect personality but was ugly, and the other was extremely good looking but had a morbid personality, who would get the most female attention?

Ignore the task of defining a perfect personality or perfect looks, just assume they exist.

The first man is a narcissistic, psychopath who has a known history of using women. He's a liar, cheater and he's arrogant. Think of a negative personality trait and he has it - if a 0/10 "bad personality" could be qualified he has it. However this man is extremely good looking, think male model Caleb halstead, or male model Nick Bateman (http://ift.tt/1H7suxX), or Marlon Teixeira.

The other man is sweet, affectionate, well mannered, confident, charming, witty - he has a 10/10 personality.. However he is short, balding, skinny, has acne and his facial features lack symmetry and are incongruent.

Now we all know the answer to this question.

At least I think there's going to be little debate here.

Does anyone here truly believe good looks are trumped by a good personality?

Sure some women might say on the internet they would prefer the second guy - it's very easy to say something on the internet when you don't have to follow through with it. But that's be real: the first guy is going get in the order of magnitudes more female attention than the second guy.

And you can't say it's just the "shallow" women who behave like this: this is Jane down the street. If we took a broad sample of the female population the same results would follow.

So clearly looks >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> personality in dating.
So shouldn't we be talking about looks here more? Like posting pictures of beautiful people, analyzing them, then trying to copy them as much as possible? Beauty - not personality - seems like the key to unlocking a good dating life, even for men. Ditto for women.
