How do I keep him interested for a long time?

  • Thread Starter

My best friend introduced me to this guy (Jake) when we were out clubbing. We're both 18 and at University. We kissed the entire night, he was extremely forward (he had had a lot to drink) and kept pushing his hand up my skirt. I removed it. He consistently told me he wanted to **** me and that I should go back to his. I refused and made it clear that I wouldn't.
The next day he messaged me and was genuinely friendly and apologised for his behaviour. He invited me over to watch a movie at his. I accepted and repeatedly made it clear that no sex would be involved. He collected me from my friends and we stayed at his. We were watching the movie and kissed for a while. He then told me if we're going to kiss all night he's just going to go to sleep. I apologised and told him that nothing was going to happen and I reminded him I told him this. He seemed ok with it.
We spent the night cuddling and just chatting. In the morning I left and we continued to message.
Our conversation is never sexual and he genuinely seems intrigued to know me; asks how my day was, what i'm doing, likes/dislikes, when I can next visit.
I told him i'd booked cinema tickets to see a movie with my friend and he asked could he go too. Also, I suggested we meet up and I asked had me any ideas. He said he couldn't think of any and that we'll see next week (is that him blowing me off?)
He's out of my league. He's extremely sporty, good-looking, smart, funny and popular.
Rcently he hasn't been replying to me much. It first started when he had a pretty short reply. I took hours to write back because I didn't know what to say but he could see I was online. Now he's doing the same- distant, short answers. Is the fact he's still texting me show he's interested? If I don't give him sex will he look elsewhere (is that why he's distant?). I think he realises I want a relationship also. Also we only Facebook message- Never asked for my number
How do I get him really interested/want a relationship?
Sorry this question is so long.:(
