Obviously we are still in a really bad economic environment for young people such as ourselves and a lot of us still can't afford to rent our own places (don't even ask about buying). I am employed at the moment but still can't afford my own place. I am desperately looking for a second permanent job (or a better paid job), but they are very hard to find (temp jobs everywhere), which means I'm still living with mum, which sucks.
I'm finding it's having a really bad effect on my relationships. It's a real confidence knock. It's hard to feel like a man. Especially when you don't drive too and when you see your friends all with their own places and girlfriends. If I want to bring a girl home I definitely can't do it. It is so depressing. I'm single, constantly rejected and live with mum. I'm like flippin Johnny Bravo :(
What the hell do you do in this situation? I've tried adapting, but it's really difficult :( The fact that everything stops and that you can't do a lot of things until you get another job sucks.
