It's been nearly a week since my boyfriend of over 5 months broke up with me over a silly and heated argument. I've never met a boy I've gotten along with so well, there was so much chemistry and mutual interest. However I don't know what to do about it all. Here's why.
The night we broke up I sent him more than a few messages about how I needed him and was sorry...which I understand would have been a bit much but he was ignoring me. I wanted him to know I was sorry so I kept messaging him. He said the relationship had ended because it was too intense (the fighting) and he couldn't cope with it, even though I was an 'amazing girl'. That morning he had had a massive argument with his mum who had basically told him he should stop talking to me as much and it would stop the arguments. I took some offence to this and that's why we ended up breaking up.
But since then he's been acting very very weird. I don't have Facebook but my dad has him as a friend on it and he said to me on Saturday that my ex still had himself 'in a relationship', his cover photo is still of us and he still has individual photos up of me. He also hasn't taken down his instagram photos of me and he has changed his bio over the past few days from something about me to 'Nobody said it was easy' and lyrics from 'Give Me Love' which happened to be my favourite and 'our' song.
I'm scared to text him in case he rejects me again and ignores me as I know I'll have no motivation to ever message him again. My friends have been saying how he hasn't been himself in school and he's been blunt with everyone. I wouldn't know (we go to different schools). Even though he hasn't been himself, has made reference to the old 'us' more than a few times - he still is ignoring me. We would have been 6 months together on the 3rd October.
I'm sorry for the massive story, I just don't know what to do. I don't know whether to message him, let him message me or completely try and other the most amazing boy I have ever met.
