In modern British society, left-handed people live in a world dominated by right-handed people, and many of the tools and common day-to-day objects we see around us are designed in a way to suit the needs of the right-handed population.
Left-handed individuals such as myself often experience a life of inconvenience and discrimination by the perceived right-handed "superiors". Just FYI, globally around 9% of people are left-handed.
Have you ever stopped and thought why no left-handed individuals are in power? Have you ever thought why "right" in English is a homophone for "correct"? It's simply unthinkable.
Anyway, to my problem. My girlfriend recently broke up with me because I was left handed. It took her a while to figure out my handedness but when she found out she said there was no point of us being together due to the fact that she would never consider having a baby with me. She said that since I was left handed my seaman was corrupt and could lead to a disorderly fetus. I accepted this and moved on, until her dad knocked on my door and punched me in the face. My initial reaction was to call the police, however once I took into consideration the above it seemed obvious to me that the police are only out there to protect right-handed people, unlike myself, and I would waste my time trying.
Has anyone else faced difficulty as a left-hander? Feel free to share experiences here.
