| So I'd been chatting to this guy I knew from a few years ago and we were getting on great. We both said how much we liked each other, he was pretty full on with it and he'd text every day, I'd wake up to a message from him and go to sleep with one. We spent hours messaging all day every day. He said a few times how he hoped I wasn't going to change my mind/go off him etc. About 10 days ago, he came to see me. It went great, I can't fault it at all. He also introduced me to his sister who lives in the same city as me and mentioned that he'd told his dad about me. We talked for hours and spent almost 48 hours solid with each other which for a "first date" is pretty intense. When he left we agreed to do something again soon, once we were both back into uni life (both final years). He left, everything was fine. For a few days after, everything was as it was before. Then suddenly he stopped "talking" as much. There was no morning messages, no drunken texts if he was out... I'm not someone to sit back and try and guess whats going on, so I asked him straight if he was trying to let me down gently and he said of course not. I've given him 3 opportunities to say if he was having second thoughts about the whole thing and each time he's reassured me that he's just been busy. I'd like to believe this, but I'm not sure if I can. So, opinions please? I know there isn't a lot to go on but it's just confusing me. Going from being so (almost too) intense, to feeling like I'm more of an afterthought just doesn't make sense. It is possible that an ex has been back in contact as he's just moved back to his uni city down south where she lives.. I know they ended on bad terms and I don't think he's interested in her anymore, but maybe it's pulled up some old issues for him so he's backed off me? I don't know. Opinions will be really appreciated :) | |||
