I won't go into the details of why but neither of us did anything wrong, there was just something that wasn't working and my boyfriend just broke up with me even though I was willing to compromise and didn't want it to end. I know I don't need another person to complete me and I'm my own person, but even so, I feel like I've just lost one of the best parts of my life. I don't know what to do and how to get through this. I'm 100% sure that this is the end so there's no room for negotiation or going back, but I know I can't carry on being close friends with him like he wants to because it'll just make things harder for me. Yet at the same time, the thought of life without him is unbearable. I'm so sad and broken.
