There's this boy in my sixth form that I happen to really like, I've liked him for a couple of months now. Only last week my friend told me that the guy I like said he liked me back. I've seen him staring once or twice in class and we joke around a lot, but anyway to not get my hopes up I thought nothing of it. Yesterday he sent me a message saying that he wants to go out sometime next week to the cinema and eat out- which I was really happy about. But I only found out today that he went on a date with this other girl in my class on Friday. I kind of feel like I'm being played and I don't understand what he's doing. I had no idea he liked this other girl and if he doesn't, what's the deal. Is this normal behaviour for guys to just go on dates and treat them this casually? Do you think it's best if I ignore him because of this?
