In a couple of weeks my husband and I are headed to Vegas and have decided to check something off my bucket list....
Go see Celine Dion in concert!!! We just bought great seats yesterday and I can hardly believe we are going...
I am a singer and there are several ladies I have worked my voice with over the years on my own and she is one of them and one of my favorites. My range is over three octaves from c3 to f5 sometimes g5. Hers is b1 to e6. Great voice to stretch with vocally along with Whitney (b2 to c6), Mariah (e2 to f7), also lots of styles Pink, Wynonna, Reba, Dolly, Eva Cassidy, Etta James, Aretha, Almost anything Motown, Southern Rock, wide range of rock, pop and country. A lot that would take too much time to list. I grew up on Elvis. Most of the time when I sing I get "you need to do The Voice," my old choir director told me I was his resident black girl even though I'm white with a very soulful voice, and I've had some band invites. One of them was for a 4th of July celebration with Rollin' in the Hay. I've wondered about pursuing music through the years, but a lot of life has happened. This will be a very special experience and just has me shaking my head that I listened to n aysayers too much through the years about not doing it because I was a wife or don't have "connections." I STILL feel I could do my own YouTube channel and just see what happens. Just do it for the joy of singing and expressing emotions in a big way. Celine does that in spades. Can't wait.
