Anon because I know people on here etc..
Anyway, I'll try keep it short and to the point.
So a couple months back I met a girl out one saturday night, kind of knew her (we were in the same year at school). Got talking, ended up in bed with her that night, fooled around a bit, didn't have sex though (that might be important). Didn't really think much of it since the day before i'd broke things off with another girl so that night helped me take my mind off her.
It kind of gets a bit complicated here so try stay with me.
The girl who I picked up that saturday night has a sister. About a year ago I went on a couple of dates with this sister but nothing ever happened. Now this sister is currently in a relationship with a very good friend of mine, its cool, we all get on extremely well.
That part is important, remember that setup.
So anyway, the next day the girl and her sister meet up, my friend notices and interesting bruise on her neck, sends me a picture to refresh my memory. I had completely forgotten so being polite I send her a message to apologise. We got talking and being quite forward she sends me her number, great! We text one another quite a bit and eventually arranged to meet up. The first couple of times we met I didn't try anything, just got to know each other. Eventually got pretty comfortable with one another, lots of contact but we still hadn't had sex. I wasn't too bothered, she seemed quite shy, I wasn't going to rush anything.
So after seeing each other quite a lot it started to feel like it was going somewhere, great! Still no sex, but hey, I was still having a good time! Anyway, so after like three weeks or so I was out on a saturday for a 'few' drinks with friends. Texting her that night she suggests that I get a taxi to hers after ive been out with my friends. Without hesitating I book a taxi and head round. I arrive, we have a few drinks, end up in bed getting quite intimate, great! Long story short, we didn't have sex. Again, no worries, we still had some fun.
The next week goes fine, met up during the week, everything is going great. She even text me one morning to say how she missed me not being next to her when she woke up. I thought that was cute. So the next weekend we planned another night together but last minute she cancelled on me, but she apologised and said we'd plan something else. Strangely I didn't get a text from he in the morning and then in the afternoon out of nowhere I get a text pretty much finishing things with me.
Absolutely shocked I ended up going over to her house to talk things over. The whole time she was being very distant, not much eye contact, basically let me do most of the talking. She didn't really have a reason, just the fact that she didn't think it was working . I really tried to get her to explain but she'd just repeat herself, she wouldn't let me close to her, I even tried to give her a kiss but nothing. I eventually just said 'If you change your mind, let me know' then left.
That night I got drunk, sent her a pretty soppy text, had no reply. Then the next day I just decided to write it off, so I sent another text explaining how I didn't understand but I was going to respect her decision, said my goodbyes and told her to take care of herself. I also did not get a reply.
It's been three weeks now and ive not seen or heard from her. I have seen her sister since but she didn't mention anything about what had happened. My friend also doesn't know much, the only thing her sister has mentioned to him is that apparently she didn't feel the same way. After everything she said/did it makes no sense, I feel like something else happened to suddenly change her mind about me.
Do you guys think I have done the right thing by just cutting all contact and not pursuing her? Because part of me feels like I should be fighting to get back what we had together or at least fighting for a real answer!
On a side note, her sister is throwing a house party this coming weekend. I've been invited and so has she. So there's a good chance i'll bump into her this saturday. I could be an arse and ignore her the whole night to try make her feel bad or I could try to talk to her... Thoughts?
Too long, Didn't read: Was seeing a girl, she cut me off for no reason and she'll be at a party this weekend. What the flip do I do?
Cheers for reading, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
