Okay so I'm struggling to make friends at 6th form, 4th month in...still. So people seem to think I'm not like them, its like I have some vibe that I give off that tells them otherwise. For example a few weeks ago I was sat with a group of people and they were talking about getting raving drunk at parties, and ones of them said directly to me, "I bet you think we're awful for getting drunk, don't you?" As if they think I'd judge them for that, they barely know me, for all they know i might gate crash parties and get drunk just as frequently as them. I don't but I have nothing against drinking I just choose not to make myself paralytic, I do have drink every now and then though. But they seem to think I'm a goody two shoes or something, people also apologise regularly for swearing in front of me but not to others, I don't care if they swear! I swear! At one point someone dropped something and swore rea lly loudly and then somebody else ran up to them and whispered something. Then the person that swore loudly came up to me looking anxious and said 'I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to offend your religion. You know because I swore'. I was incredulous...what religion?!
Anyway I know that was a huge rant (sorry!) any idea why people might think me different to everyone else? Or have you experienced this? Just getting a bit frustrated with everyone jumping to conclusions about me before they bother to even talk to me properly. Maybe its because I go online for advice like this...
