So me and my ex broke up 3 years ago because the timing wasn't right on my part, but i always loved him and assumed he loved me too. He instead deleted me off everything (facebook, number etc.) I was hurt but carried on. So all of a sudden a couple months back he adds me again, finds my number and starts texting me. It was a nice shock to be honest. He then suggested meeting up where he is at uni but i said i'd be more comfortable if he came to see me at my uni. At this point it was more of a joke because i couldn't see him coming here. Now i think he's actually serious, he's given me dates and everything including staying the night? I really do want to see him again but an overnight stay has to be done because we live too far away to travel late at night. I don't think i've stopped loving him but i don't know what to do because i don't know what he wants and i don't want to get hurt. I know i hurt him when i broke it off and it's been my biggest regret t o date and i don't want him using that against me. What should i do? I either want us to be friends or start seeing each other properly, nothing in between.
